The Bards

Losa Department of History and Recordkeeping

Welcome to the

Bard Guild Hall

Guild Leader Edwin Thatcher on stage

retelling the story of the theft of the Fellstar.

Step into a whimsical world where history and artistry intertwine, and the magic of words can wield the power of legends. Officially titled the super stuffy Losa Department of History and Recordkeeping,” the brilliant and beautiful guild leaders have opted to go by the so much cooler sounding Ryons’ Acting Troupe,” named after King Griffith Ryons (perhaps without his blessing, but with his spirit). The Bards of Draile have played a crucial role in chronicling the aftermath of the Dark Moon War, dedicating themselves to preserving the stories and knowledge of our past. Under the guidance of the fearless Syr Ambrios, who traded her sword for a quill, The Bards ensured that the tales of both triumph and tragedy were captured for future generations, culminating in the creation of The Grand Library of Losa.

Though their primary duty lies in record-keeping, The Bards thrive as insanely hilarious and genius musicians, poets, and performers—using their art to look super cool and bring joy and levity to a world still healing from conflict. With a recent renaissance in the arts, thanks to renewed patronage from the totally not corrupt nobility, The Bards celebrate both the preservation of history and the birth of new ideas. They balance their scholarly pursuits with a passion for creativity, ensuring that fresh interpretations of myths and legends flow just as freely as documented truths without too much profanity scribbled in the margins. We invite you to explore the power of storytelling, the joy of artistic creation, and a legacy that intertwines history and imagination! Join us, and together we shall ensure that the melodies of the past echo throughout the ages.

The Bard Guild Hall is still under construction.
